The jobs that never quite justify a specialist, done in one visit instead of five weekends.
Repairs, replacements and the emergencies that never happen at a convenient hour.
Old wiring in old houses, plus the upgrades that make them safe to live in.
Custom timber work scribed to fit period houses that stopped being square decades ago.
Preparation is most of the job, which is where most paint jobs go wrong.
One-off transformations or a standing visit that keeps the yard under control.
Height work with proper access equipment, ideally before the first big storm.
The membrane matters more than the tile, and it's the part you can't see later.
Treatment plus the entry points, because the second one is what stops them returning.
Install, service and diagnose — usually on the first properly cold or hot week of the year.
Flat, drained and reinforced properly, so it's still flat in ten years.
Boundary work done once, with the neighbour conversation handled before we dig.
Rates are standard weekday hourly, GST inclusive, billed by the half hour with a one-hour minimum. Materials are charged at cost plus handling and itemised on the invoice. A callout fee applies per visit — see the rate estimator.
Included as standard
These aren't extras and they aren't line items. They're just how a job runs when you book us.
Callout, hourly rate and expected range confirmed by text or email before anyone gets in the van.
Plus a message when the crew leaves the previous job, so you're not waiting at home all day.
If the job grows once we open it up, work pauses and you get the revised number before we continue.
Labour, materials and callout listed separately. Drop sheets down, offcuts gone, licence details on the invoice.
Describe what's happening and send a photo or two. We'll tell you which crew it is — and if it's a five-minute fix, we'll tell you that too.
