Nobody notices it until it fails. We took the name because that's the job: the systems your business runs on should be invisible when they're working, and never a surprise when they're not.
Our story
Halyard began after our founders spent years inside bigger providers watching the same pattern: businesses paying monthly for support they couldn't evaluate, from a team that changed every quarter, against a roadmap nobody had written down.
So we built the opposite. Named engineers who stay with an account. Documentation that belongs to the client. Advice that's vendor-neutral, because we don't take referral fees for pushing a product you didn't need.
Twelve years on we support more than 200 businesses across Greater Brisbane — from ten-person practices to distribution operations running around the clock. The office has more desks now. The approach hasn't moved.
How we operate
If a recommendation can't be explained to your finance manager, it isn't finished being thought through.
Every asset register, diagram and password vault is yours, kept current, and handed over on request without argument.
You get people who know your environment by name, not a queue that starts the story again each time.
Month-to-month agreements after onboarding. We'd rather earn the next month than enforce the next year.
The team
No offshore first line, no script-reading. The person who picks up the phone can usually fix the thing — and if they can't, they know exactly who can.
