Prices are for labour and standard fixings in the Brisbane south-east. Materials such as paint, palings, tapware and doors are charged at cost and listed separately on your invoice. Something not on the list? Describe it in the booking form and we'll price it up.

Usually a phone call the same day. Listed jobs stay at the listed price; anything else gets a written figure before we book it.

A morning or an afternoon, not "sometime Tuesday". We text when the van leaves the previous job.

We take the mess with us and email the invoice that night, itemised against the list you sent.

Is the total on the price list what I actually pay?
For labour and standard fixings, yes — that's the point of a fixed price. Materials you haven't already bought (paint, palings, tapware, a screen door) are added at cost and itemised. If we open something up and find the job is genuinely bigger, we stop and call you before spending another dollar.
What if my job isn't on the list?
Most of our work isn't. The list covers the ten things people ask for most often; everything else gets a written quote, usually from photos and a phone call. Bigger work like a deck, a bathroom or a retaining wall we'll come and look at properly.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
Not on a booked job — travel inside our service area is already in the price. Emergency after-hours call-outs are charged separately, and we'll tell you the rate on the phone before we get in the van.
Which suburbs do you cover?
Brisbane's inner south-east, roughly Coorparoo, Camp Hill, Greenslopes, Holland Park, Norman Park, Carina and the suburbs either side. Outside that, ring us — if we're already booked nearby that week we can usually make it work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — licensed for the trades we take on and covered by public liability insurance. Licence and certificate of currency details go out with every quote, and we're happy to send them beforehand if you'd rather check first.
How soon can you get here?
Half-day jobs usually land within the week. Anything leaking, sparking or unsafe we'll try to make safe the same day — say so in the form or, better, just ring.
